The Mentor-Protégé Program in businesses aims to create long-term relationships between large businesses and small businesses. The program's goal is to help small businesses grow and develop through professional guidance and support, which can lead to more contracts and subcontracts for both parties. The programs can help protégés in areas such as business development, financial assistance, and procurement assistance. Mentors can provide technical or management assistance, form joint ventures, or teaming arrangements to win government contracts.
